How Visitors Rate the TaiKoo Li Sanlitun

Local tourists from China

This place is probably a favorite spot for young people, close to the embassy district. It features top-brand boutiques, and you might even catch a celebrity doing a ribbon-cutting for a new store. There are countless international cuisines, coffee shops, delicious chocolates, and ice cream. One of my favorite bookstores is also here. In the summer, just sitting on the sidewalk with a cup of coffee, watching people come and go, feels wonderfully relaxing!

I’ve been to Beijing many times, but this was my first visit to Sanlitun. I always thought such a commercialized area would be just the same as everywhere else, not really worth a visit. However, since my accommodation was nearby and my train was a bit later, I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve always loved design-oriented shops and installations, and Sanlitun has them everywhere, each more unique than the last. It’s a great place to spark some inspiration!

This was my second visit to Sanlitun, and it was a bit overwhelming. The crowds were bustling, and there were so many good-looking people around, along with plenty of street photographers. I started by checking out the Uniqlo, which is probably the largest one in Beijing—definitely more items than the other stores. The Apple Store was also pretty busy with visitors.
